Fuchsia Fever

IMG_4408

Hey Everyone,

As I don’t wear a full face of makeup everyday I’m totally someone who goes for a bright pink, fuchsia lipstick as it’s an easy way to make a statement with one product. For that reason I have tried out quite a few and today I decided I would share some of my favourites and some newbies that I recently got and can’t wait to try out!

(Left to Right: Revlon Vivacious, Essence Like A Princess, Natio Petal, Estée Lauder Fuchsia Fever)

IMG_4415This first one was actually in a freebie deal with Estée Lauder and I have to say it is my favourite, it is stunning! It is called ‘Fuchsia Fever’ (funnily enough), I would say it is a true fuchsia, a hot pink with purple under tones and would suit all skin tones. This lipstick applies really well, it’s not patchy, very creamy and gives of a satin finish with fine specks of glitter, but they are really suttle and just add a little something the the lipstick. Now I just checked and this lipstick was actually a limited edition and is no longer available…sorry, but if your interested here is a similar one by them.

IMG_4411The next one is the one I’ve hade for the longest and is very well loved (as you can tell.) It is the Natio Smoothie Lip Crayon Colour in ‘Petal.’ It is super easy to apply a gives of a sheer colour however if you want more colour it is very easy to build up, so definitely try this colour if you want a great everyday hot pink that you can just throw in your bag and apply throughout the day.

IMG_4412Another lipstick I have is a new one that I got recently and it’s an Essence Sheer and Shine Lipstick in ‘13 Like A Princess.’ First of all that is the cutest name, and second of all this such an in expensive lipstick and is a great one if you just want a slight tint to your lips. It’s makes your lips super shiny and you should definitely try it out if you want to try a hot pink, fuchsiary colour without making a bold statement.

IMG_4414The final lipstick I have is actually a lip crayon and this is the Revlon Colourburst Lacquer Balm in ‘Vivacious,’ now these can be expensive for drugstore makeup but in my opinion they are definitely worth it and a lot of people love them. This colour is more pinky toned then purple but is still beautiful. These are super shiny, are very moisturising and I am definitely going to try some more so if you have any suggestions about colours leave me a comment below!

So I hope you all enjoyed this blog post and it inspired you to maybe try out  colour you wouldn’t of before.

Lots of Love Mads

xx
